DASGUPTA at the Fashion 26 Grand Opening Gala

On Monday evening, Fashion 26 [http://www.f26nyc.com], a Wyndham Hotel, rolled out the red carpet to celebrate its grand opening.  Booked to capacity for its launch, the hotel opened its doors to industry, press and public alike for a glamorous evening fête, made possible by sponsors like Jaguar, Crumbs Bake Shop, Rue La
La and iStyleList.com.  DASGUPTA was prominently featured in the hotel’s window display as well on the third floor, where guests were offered an intimate, boudoir-reminiscent tour of three hotel rooms.

Each room was rigged with designer pieces from the iStyleList roster of fresh talent.  DASGUPTA pieces from the A/W 2010 collection were showcased and the response was phenomenal.  Aparna was on hand tointroduce the label to interested guests.  En La Escena, a Latino TV channel, was present, covering the event.  Reporter Leticia Reyes interviewed Aparna – catch the footage on En La Escena’s Youtube channel (psst, check 02:22!).
